Membership Map

The membership questionnaire (which we encourage all members to complete) allows us to do some remarkable things to help members connect with one another. One of the most striking is a geographical "membership map," still quite preliminary (we are waiting on a variety of members to complete the survey and we still have to enter the data by hand) but interesting nevertheless. Just click on the blue dots to find out names and institutional affiliations

Things to Come:
In the next version of the website, we will be able to generate the map automatically from the information provided by members, so those who let the site know that they are travelling to Slovakia (for example) can communicate that information directly to other members. As many of us have discovered, we are more likely to meet abroad then we are in our home countries.
